Friday is the man behind the mask! Word is, Bryan has quite the rep as
a stuntman. Hopefully, that means things with Marlena's stalker are going to get
interesting!

Brandon
DeShazer playing Harry, the detective who's been working the computer
at the Salem PD.
Davide Schivone has been tapped
to play Young Stefano and airs Wednesday, August 20.
Wondering about Salem's newest goon, Eddie? Jeff Chase
played the role - and shot Phil! - on Friday, July 25.

Bill Hayes returns as
Hope's dad, Doug, on August 1.
Brea Cola turns up as
"Daphne," a tabloid reporter who has a past with Max, on July 29.
McKinley Freeman has
been hired to play "Evan," the new manager of the Java Cafe starting August 1.
Max and Stephanie get closer to Max's
sister, which means her "friends" are starting to pop up. Yuval David
shows up as her pal "George" on July 29; while Alex Schemmer
pops up as "Les," a not so friendly acquaintance, on August 31.

The role of "Brad Baker," the reporter, will be played by
Leith Burke. Look for Brad on Friday, August 8th.
Molly
Burnett is coming to
the show to play "Melanie", Max Brady's half-sister, July 31.

Rumors were
percolating that Passions
Eric Martsolf
(Ethan) was heading to Salem as the new Brady,
but Days has official quashed that buzz. Too bad!
Tamara Braun (Ava)
will also be leaving this summer, though she has no exit date as of yet. We'll
keep you posted!
Two weeks after hitting Salem,
Joe Penny's villainous
Martino exits the show in a final way on May 15. To read more, click

Grandpa Shawn (portrayed by Frank Parker) unfortunately died on February 15th
and the character left the show. This is expected to be the last date he'll air
in a new show, though there could be flashbacks of him with an upcoming funeral.

Staying
Thaoo Penghlis (Tony DiMera) has renewed his
contract with the show!
Darin Brooks (Max)) is reportedly staying in the mix, having signed his new
contract with the show.
InRich.com, a local Virginia newspaper, has reported that "I Wanna Be A Soap
Star" winner Ashlee Holland has been offered and accepted a three year contract
with Days! Originally she was only to have won a 13 week contract role with the
show.
As of August 2007, Kristian Alfonso (Hope) has re-signed with the show for 2
more years.
As of May 2006, Josh Taylor (Roman) recently re-signed with the show for 2
more years. This was reported on his

As of April 2006, Alison Sweeney (Sami) has signed a new contract with the
show keeping her on Days for three more years.
